| The Guangzhou People¡¯s Association
for Friendship with Foreign Countries was established in 1985 as a
local civic organization. The aim of the Association is to establish
a channel for the cultivation of mutual understanding and friendship;
to foster exchange and collaboration; and to maintain world peace.
Its main responsibility is to develop friendships and relationships
with international Chinese organizations, non-governmental organizations
and professional organizations through various exchange activities.
To organize activities for exchange and collaboration in economics,
commerce, technology, education, culture, sports and hygiene. It serves
as an educational path in the modernization of the country. |
