Dor-Ner began his television career in 1966 as a WGBH news cameraman,while earning his B.Sc.(Communications)at Boston University. Starting in 1968, Dor-Ner worked for Israeli television as a news cameraman, director, and producer/director for numerous documentary and entertainment programs.
He returned to WGBH in 1979.
