During GZDOC 2006, the following activities will be held: Documentary Market, Screening, Competition and Seminar.
In the Documentary Market, international broadcasters and buyers will be invited. The Documentary Market will include: Workshops on International Marketing, Documart, Projects with Most International Market Potential and GZ DOCSHOP. Please find the updates in Documentary Market.
GZDOC welcomes producers with projects to attend Workshops on International Marketing. 20 Chinese producers of ¡°Projects with Most International Marketing Potential¡± will be sponsored by GZDOC to attend 2007 international documentary events. Market Screening is part of the Documentary Market of GZ DOC 2006. Documentariesmade in the past two years will be available to be watched on the 20 computers with capacity to play DVD/VHS/DVCOM formatted films. Pleaser refer to GZ DOCSHOP Regulations for details.
Welcome to publish your advertisement in GZDOC handbook and website. GZDOC 2005 handbooks are distributed not only during the festival but will also be distributed in 2006 Hot Docs, Sunny Side of the Doc, Leipzig Documentary and Animation Film Festival and Kracow Film Festival. GZDOC 2006 Competition Theme: ¡°Facing Poverty¡±
Any documentary with the theme of poverty caused by fate, natural environment, natural disasters, diseases or war and how people survive it with or without aid is welcome to register for competition. Five jury prizes and Chinese producer prizes will be awarded. Please find the details in Competition Entry Form.
The Jury for competition will consist of five international jurors and two Chinese jurors. Please find the updates in GZDOC 2006 Jury.
The Award Ceremony will be broadcasted live through satellite. Please find updates in Award Ceremony.
Documentaries of other countries as well as a selection of GZDOC 2006 competition entries will be screened during the festival. Please find the updates in Screening and Program.

Over 250 producers attended the festival, they came from China, Canada, Italy and France.

State Administration of Radio, Film and TV(SARFT) becomes one of the executive organizers of GZDOC. Ms. Zhou Guizhen, the Deputy Director-General of Foreign Affairs Department with SARFT attended the opening ceremony of GZDOC 2005.
